Halloween 101: Intro to Candy

Halloween definitely started off tricky this year. Mama was all about getting redemption for last year's failed Wonder Woman attempt. I still wasn't feeling it.

Halloween sucks!

But then I wised up a little bit and decided to throw Mama a bone. Also, there was talk of candy. I don't even know what candy is!! But from the way it was said, I knew it had to be something wonderful.

Did someone say candy?

*Note from Mama: Sadie was actually a little hesitant at first to take any candy and didn't know what to do with it once she got it. But it didn't take her very long to realize that these perfectly-sized little packages had some kind of awesomeness inside. She had gone through a Tootsie Roll and started in on a Twix before we realized she was eating them, wrapper and all.

Hurricane ByeBye

Thankfully, this is the only cleanup we had to do post Hurricane Sandy.

I hope everybody else is doing OK.

Sadiegoose's Hurricane Sandy Survival Guide

Guys, there's a hurricane out there! Actually, there's a ferocious mega/franken/super storm out there (depending on your news source)!! Now, I may only be 1 year, 2 months, and 10 days old, but this is my second hurricane. (I'm looking at you, Irene.) So I'm like a pro at this. Here are some helpful tips to get us all through this safely.

1) Wear appropriate gear and vigilantly check for leaks.

2) Seek out alternative shelter.

Is this place taken?

Ok, I'm getting in.

2a) Make sure your alternative shelter is big enough.

Aw, peanut butter and jelly! I don't fit!!

3) Hold on and DON'T PANIC!!!

Shopping Bogart

Today I rode in a shopping cart for the first time! Well, technically I've ridden in a shopping cart many times before, but I've always been in my carseat. And now whenever when Mama and I go food shopping I'm either in my stroller or carrier. So, today was unique. I went to a magical land called Fairway! It was bright and colorful!!

What? This is how I ride.

Everything that Mama put in the cart had to get by me first. See the t.p. in the cart? I squeezed it. See the canned goods? I shook them. See the lone whole wheat mini bagel in there? I ate the other one. And so on. This worked out great until Mama got eggs. Also, I ate a mini pumpkin. 

Ugh, I feel ill.

I can't wait until the next hurricane-madness-induced-food-shopping-frenzy!!!

Xmas is Coming

Hey, kids! Christmas is just around the corner!! I'm getting a jump on my toy list NOW!!!

This Toys R Us catalog is off the hook!

I gotta sit down for this.

I take this very seriously.

I'm outta here. Got some shopping to do.
