Happy Easter

No, I don't like the ears.

No, I won't look at the camera.

Yes, you better move your hand.

This bunny bites.

Also, check out what I made:
Easter eggs!
Uncle Bissy helped:
This is serious stuff.

Even Nana got into it, too!
Go, Nana!

Minor Opus

Check out what I did in class today:

I played with these colorful thingys! I don't know what they are but they're fun to play with! Also, delicious.

Next,
there was this giant stamp pad with a variety of stamper shapes. It was pretty cool, too.

But, most importantly, was this:

I embarked upon my career as an artiste. Check out my very first piece:

It may look simple, but for all you amateurs let's break it down:
--Orange paint with some hints of yellow and a slight undertone of red: symbolizes the complex                               components that make up all of us.
--Broad, short brush strokes: introduces the concepts of joie de vivre and mortality.
--Thick layers/multiple coats: we are all multifaceted, wear many hats, play many roles, are like onions, etc., etc..
--Under-utilization of paint medium: I'm only 33 inches tall, give me a break.

My work will be on display on the refrigerator at home from today until an as of yet unknown date. Please contact Mama to arrange a viewing.

Weather Wise

I'm fairly certain that if I wear your winter accessories, Daddy, I'll be warm enough going out in my pajamas and socks. After all, it is spring now!

Hmm, Mama says it's cold outside, though. Maybe I better sit and think this through.

Good thing I thought about it. It's frickin' freezing out here.

And my winter accessories are so much cuter than yours.

19 Months

Today I made some lunch.
I love cooking the books!

I brushed my teeth...

...and Minnie's teeth

...and Raggedy Ann's teeth

...and Blue Guy's teeth.

Then I sat in a box.

Celebrating your 19th-month birthday is just not really that exciting.

Maltipooshihuahua

Grandma got a new dog. Her name is Lily and she is smaller than me!*

Here I am playing ball with Lily in her playpen:

And here I am in Lily's crate, natch:

Here I am in my ball pool (on a very important phone call). The blob to my right is Lily.

Mama has stated many times that there is NO WAY to get a single photo of both Lily and me together without one of us being blurry (as evidenced above). Lily runs around everywhere, steals all my toys, and makes funny sounds. She's kind of like a stuffed animal on crack. Finally someone that can keep up with me!!

*RIP Nova. You were the very best dog to be the first dog in my life. I hope you're eating lots of Milkbones in doggie heaven.

Poll: What Am I?

Here I am just chillin' on my horsey, wearing a pink tutu and a backwards baseball cap.

So, what am I?

Saturday in the Park

I went to Central Park today!

Daddy and I strolled:

And my shadow and I stared each other down:

We saw some snow:

Did you know that one of my favorite things to do is sit on a bench?

It's even better sitting with Daddy!

The end!

Resolute

Hey, remember my New Year's Resolutions?? In particular, resolution #1? Well, I'm really committed to sticking with it.

Even if it means climbing on things with wheels. Mama said that it's probably not a good idea in general to climb on things with wheels, but what does she know?

Note from Mama: I know how this ends.

This is ok...
Having a drink with my cousin on a chair!

Hey, what do you have in there?

While I have you here...SMOOCH xoxoxo

Note: I am giving my cousin a kiss in the last photo. I love my cuz!!

Siren Song of Le Carrousel

I went on a carousel for the very first time! It was the one that I was too little to ride on last summer. Remember?! In Bryant Park!?! Mama said we'd come back next summer when I was bigger, but we were in the park today and it beckoned me.

So here I am riding on the carousel:

Now, I know I might look a little nervous in the photo, but I really wasn't! I loved the carousel!! However, there were workers taking down an event of some sort and throwing metal pipes on the cement right next to the carousel. It was incredibly loud. Brilliant! Anyway, the crashing metal on cement noise was making me a little nervous.

Here I am looking slightly more relaxed:

And here's some action footage where you can see how excited I really am! (Also, if you listen closely you can hear the metal pipes crashing in the background.)

It was really fun and I went on it twice and wanted to go more but Mama was too cold! So, instead I played in the fountain.

Did I mention that it was like 30 degrees out and I totally didn't mind getting my hands wet and exposing them to the air. (Note from Mama: WTF?!? My hands were so cold that my fingers turned white and went numb. And I was wearing gloves.)

Crazyhorse

Remember our lesson on the importance of horsey riding safety? ? ? Whatevs to that!!

Yippee ki-yay, mother and father!!!

Yeehaw!!!
Ah hahahahahahhaaha

What? Just hangin' out with my horsey.

And, yes, I am in my pajamas.
